Can't sync Windows 10 to iCloud.

Windows Central Question

Since the recent Windows 10 upgrade I am unable to sync my calendar and contacts to iCloud. I have tried multiple attempts to remedy the situation without success. I can see that there are many users with the same issue. Have to believe it is related to the upgrade. Is there a fix coming soon? Please!!!
