cant update my lumia 625

my phone is not showing update.it displays that your phone is up to date.my phone has windows 8.please help and tell why it doesnt detect 8.1

Some phones are having difficulty updating. If you are not concerned with data loss from apps (those you cannot backup that is) then you should use the Nokia Software Recovery Tool as it will give you the update.

Be sure to backup what you can prior to using it.

it showed that the new update is available before some 4-5 days but now its not showing.

Did you try doing a soft reset to see if it pops up again?
