So I have an AT&T locked 920 that I have on Straight Talk. The first SIM had everything working wonderful, and on the phone live tile, it showed the carrier name as "AT&T", because I am using an ATT compatible SIM so I don't have to unlock anything. Straight Talk sent me a new SIM so I could port my old number, and this SIM sucks. Now instead of "AT&T" it says "HOME" on the live tile. This is bugging me way more than it should. I have soft reset, hard reset, even downgraded the OS. Changed APN settings, everything I can think of. Is there a way to manually edit this, or get it to change?
I have a feeling what they did was send me a SIM that for use in their little home phone modems. But that would also mean that this should still say ATT because that is the carrier name right? Or is it tied to whatever the SIM is branded?
