After updating the firmware on my 520 I had a message saying that something had changed and new settings would be forwarded. I now have a message saying that changes are available, you have received some new settings from an unidentified source. Are these new settings to do with the firmware update? How do I find out where they come from? Should I accept them?

Thanks

Mike

I have answered my own question, the message was part of the system update I clicked on apply changes and got a confirmation message that all had been updated. The only thing puzzling me is why is a system update message is flagged as coming from an unidentified source.

I got a similar message today.

Changes are available.

You've received some new phone settings from an unidentified source. If you know the sender and want to accept these changes, type the sender's pin, and then tap enter. You'll get a text message when the changes are complete.

If you don't want to do this right now, press the back button to postpone the changes. Tap cancel to decline them.

Found out that it was from my carrier lycamobile to apply gprs settings. The phone has been working fine. Don't know why they have to update that.
