Hi guys , my question is about battery and charging so .

Is 2A charger going to do any damage to my battery ?

I'm asking this because Nokia usually ships 1.3A charger with L920 .
I charge my phone every day and sometimes twice a day , so it would be a lot easier for me if I had 2A charger.

Thanks ! :)

The charge current is defined by the phone, not by the charger (as long as the charger can deliver more charge current than the Phone asks) so if the L920 is delivered with a 1.3A charger I don't think a 2A charger will shorten your charging time. Anyway it won't damage your battery to try, the charge circuitry in the Phone will protect it.

Higher amp chargers won't damage anything since gadgets pull what they need instead of having power forcefully pushed to them.
2Amp charger can provide more power and potentially charge more quickly.
Either way, it's going to be fine, 2 A recommended since it'll be better for more products.

Simple OHM's law. The phone will draw the current it needs. 2A or 20A, it doesn't matter. What is important is the output voltage. Incorrect voltage can damage your device.

So use your 2A charger.
