Charging Case Defective?

Anyone else with a charging case for the 1020 have it quit working? Last night and today when I clip on the case to my Lumia 1020, the little light on the charging plate blinks for awhile then turns off. The phone never charges. I tried adjusting the position on the plate (because in the past the 1020 has been a little tough to get lined up right on the plate), but still doesn't work. I know the charging plate works cause it charges my 920 fine.

Anyone else have a charging plate just quit on them?

Ive had this issue before. Have you tried adjusting the position of the case on the 1020 very slightly.......it always works for me. Good luck

This is why this feature should be built in. Those two little contact points are just too vulnerable.

I have both black and yellow charging shells and its only the yellow one I have trouble with

I had a black one.The micro usb connection didn't work so I sent it to Nokia. That was over a month ago. I have called them 3 times, and they tell me they will call me back. They never do..any suggestions? I'm really ticked at Nokia. I have purchased 3 lumias, and they won't give me the time of day. &*&&^%^%%^!!

I have been using the yellow wireless charging cover for a week. haven't had any issues so far. The phone charges without issues as long as the portion below the camera is touching part of the charging plate.

OK - just a follow up on this. I've had a black charging case since I got the Lumia 1020 back in August. The black one was giving me trouble, so I ordered a yellow one. That came today via UPS and it seems to work fine with the phone.

HOWEVER - now the black one seems to work (again). Guess I have 2 cases now. Go figure.

Maybe csw43 was right and it was just a seating issue.
