Hello there! I'm thinking of buying a budget main device that I can use for browsing, YouTube, watching videos, being an E-reader and office work primarily in Word and perhaps excel and PowerPoint.

Currently I'm looking at the Chuwi Surbook Mini and Lenovo Yoga 310. They both have comparable price points here when you factor in the accessories I'd need to buy for the Chuwi, and I can buy both locally. I like the Chuwi's form factor more but I'm concerned over the longevity and repairibility of it compared to the Lenovo, among other things. Which do you guys think I should buy?

Here are the versions of the devices available to me:

Chuwi:

Lenovo:

Notes: I'm OK with lower storage. I work mostly as a translator and proofreader and am planning to use the device for grad school. I use mostly Microsoft apps with only exactly two games on steam, only shadowverse I really play and I have that on my phone. I use One drive and Dropbox and can use Google drive in a pinch.

The lenovo convertible will be more reliable, durable and better on the couch. The chuwi will be lighter and better as a tablet. I had a Chuwi once and it was ok, cheap but not so good battery. Also maybe an idea to check if the screen brightness is bright enough for you (outdoors).
