Clean install of windows 10 or system refresh?

Is there any advantage to doing a clean install over just doing the system refresh in settings?

Is there any advantage to doing a clean install over just doing the system refresh in settings?

I just did a system refresh after upgrading to windows 10. After the refresh I installed some apps and restarted my PC however Windows no longer starts. I just get a black screen. After force closing a couple times I got a screen with several options. I refreshed my system again, as other options didn't work. But after installing some apps and restarting I got the same problem. I am now refreshing again. I hope to find a solution for this.

Clean Install is the best way to eliminate gremlins from an OS installation . .especially for the Windows Registry. .
