COD Ghosts Companion App for XBOX Only?

Was excited to see that the COD app was available on WP8 at the same time as those *other* mobile OSes. I loaded it up on the iSlab before I knew it was on WP8, and was able to connect to the character I have playing on PS3. When I downloaded the app on my L920 and logged it, it popped up a message:

"Play your first Call of Duty Ghosts Multiplayer match to begin."

Then it just hangs. So, is the WP8 version only supporting the XBOX version of the game? If so, that's pretty lame...

I can't be the only guy here that plays COD on PS3, can I? I got tired of buying it for both systems...

The Ghost app worked on both my Windows Phone and Windows 8 devices. It's a great looking and working app. Wish DICE would release a battlelog app for Windows Phone and Windows 8.

Battle log app is nice, but it's not yet feature complete. Still lots of glitches.
