Computer stuck on, welcome to Windows 10! What do I do?

Computer stuck on, "welcome to windows 10!"

I've been avoiding the update to Windows 10, but my computer automatically upgraded itself to Windows 10 last night. Im now perpetually stuck on the "Welcome to Windows 10!" screen. If I click the next button, it fades slightly in color but does nothing. If I click anywhere again, my computer restarts and returns me to the same welcome screen only to put me through the entire ordeal avain. How do I fix this or get rid of 10?

Give it some time, depending on your machine it may take awhile and even longer if you have a heavily fragmented mechanical hard drive. I've seen one install take upto half a day, upon closer inspection the hard drive was 80% fragmented. I use Ultimate Defrag by disktrix, as it gives a better visual representation of the HDD platters and shows users the pitfalls of not defragging.

Of course, if you have a SSD do not defrag the drive lol...
