Connecting SP4 dock to other PC's with USB3.0

Hello,

I couldn't find an anwser on the forums or Google to my (perhaps stupid) question.

Is it possible to connect a different PC than the SP4 (lets say the Dell xps 13) to the USB 3.0 front facing port of the SP4 docking station and will it transmit video and data?

Reason why I ask this, is that I am searching for one (universal) docking station that connects both SP4, XPS13 and perhaps a Macbook (pro/air). USB-C isn't offering a solution yet I beleive..
