contacts ringtones

I am wondering how do i put music files onto the phone that i can then attach to contacts as personal ringtones. i see no option for anything but the given list of tones on the phone.

No Custom Ringtones

So far WP7 does not have the option for custom ringtones. It is possible that it will be enabled in the coming update that will be here any day now.

man it is funny how optimistic we all were back in early February that we would get the January update soon.
