Controller for RT

Hi Guys!
I started to wondering if I would be able to connect any controller to Surface RT well I just tried to connect PS3 controller but for some reason Surface doesn't recognise so I decided to post thread and ask:
-By any chance would I be able to connect PS3 controller? if yes please tell me.
-If I won't be able to then please recommend one

I tried Xbox 360 controller on Surface RT before, it only works with some certain games.

As far as I know, the PS controller is incompatable as the drivers it would require are not in Windows RT. I do know Xbox 360 controllers work as the drivers are built into the OS and I use them to play game that have controller compatability. I have not tried an XBox One controlller yet.
