Okay, parsing your post I see 3 issues.

1)You cannot copy and paste a tweet into a open document whilst using open office
2)You cannot copy and paste to twitter from a open document using open office
3) The above applies to your blog as well

Please join and specify in this thread the following as people aren't telepathic you know... :winktongue::

A) what browser are you using?
B) what is the document type? .odt, .doc or .docx?
C) which operating system are you using?

First of all thanks for joining and posting back.

Open office can open .doc and docx as well :).

This is good, we are making some head way.

1) Okay, at the top right hand corner below the X do you see three little dots? (this will help identify if you are using edge or indeed internet explorer as the icons look similar but they are not the same thing :) ).
2) I presume you mean Windows 10, as the office suite you specified you're using is open office.
3) I'm guessing the official twitter app.

Now we need to know how are you trying to copy and paste - right click context menu with the mouse? or are you using ctrl+c (copy) and ctrl+v (paste) with the keyboard.

Also when replying, please use the quote button so I know you have replied :).

At the top next to your name and next to settings ( you will see 1 new), that is your notification counter on windows central.

How to answer - there is no reply box, just trying to get this damn computer to work

asked why it won't copy and paste - so joined - can't find now, this is a nightmare

I hate this = all I want to do is use the damned computer
have no idea how to quote
can't even find a reply box

why make it so terrible?

Favorites won't work either, MS made it so complex can't use

You have to sign back in to see the Quote and Reply buttons.

In the upper left corner of the website look for the Hamburger (≡) and click that to see the log in option...

I see those buttons because I'm logged in. If I log out they disappear...

Are you, by any chance, using touch screen controls rather than a mouse?
