Copying files over 4gb in Sd card

format it to NTFS or other 4gb+ supporting file system, i presume its currently set to fat or fat32? NTFS mainly for use on windows would allow files over 4gb

Transfer or play on the phone. If you just want to play it on the phone, use handbrake to convert it to MP4 and you should be able to get it under 4 GB if you convert to 720, but it will still look fine on your phone. I'm not sure the card will work in the phone if you convert to NTFS. I've never tried as I have a 928 with no SD support.

I have a 1520 - 128 gb sd card inside. You can convert to ntfs - the phone won't have any problems.

You must convert to ntfs if you intend to transfer files over 4gb in one go.

Ntfs is the formatting for the card. All micro sdxc/sdhc enabled devices can read it.

They'll work fine - I've got a ton of games installed on my ntfs sd card.

Just note that the format erases anything on the card, so back up everything before you go forward.

I've configured a Lumia 625 today - it's the lowest spec device I have and it works perfectly. My 1520 has never presented problems. Ntfs works perfectly bit make sure you have a class 10 card!!! Otherwise the experience is not good, with the installed programs.
