Cortan does not work with headphones/microphone

I have noticed that Cortana cannot hear anything when I speak through my headphones with an inline microphone. This is on a Lumia 1050. Is anyone else having this issue?

The microphone worked just fine for phone calls and worked for voice commands before the Windows 8.1 upgrade.

Mine still works. Are you using a Nokia microphone or something 3rd party as some 3rd party mics have some issues with WP (both 8 and 8.1). Try disabling Cortana and use the normal speech to see if it recognizes the mic.

My wired and Bluetooth Nokia Monster work very well with Cortana the voice recognition is very good
