cortana does not respond

I have a lenova laptop, with windows 10. the problum is cortana does not respond to my command hay cortana. but if i press the mic it works properly

Try this.... Go into Settings and then Cortana Settings. Select check microphone. From there I don't remember exactly. I had a problem similar to what you describe. Once I was in settings and had selected check microphone, Windows came back with a message that there was a problem, and as I remember, had an option to fix. Again, I don't remember step by step at that point. This may be enough for you to go on.
