Cortana interests broken

ever since midday yesterday I've had "Cortana interests aren't available at the moment. You can try again later" whenever I open up the app.
anyone else has this? should I be worried because I am.

Working fine for me. Have you tried a soft reset and where are you located? Since Cortana is primarily server side, it could be a problem with the one you're using.

just tried a soft reset. still the same.
hopefully this is a temporary outage and that they're upgrading servers

Interesting, I'm in the US, too (MA), using an Icon. FWIW, my Cortana voice searches were flaky the last few weeks. Three out of four times I'd get the "I can't connect right now" response for pretty much everything except asking about the weather somewhere. Been better the past week.
