As per the pic I live near the coast in NW England. Cortana, presumbly via Bing maps is forever suggesting places for me in Southport (which is across the estuary and 25 miles by road) just because they are geographically closer as the crow flies.

Does anyone else experience this ignorance of roads just because a location is closer. I'd love to get to Southport but I just don't have a hovercraft.
