Cortana Phone Link not Working

With the new Fall Creator Update, the phone link feature in Cortana is not working. It doesn't find my device. It works in Edge, but not Cortana. I'm using a Google Pixel with all the latest updates and Cortana is updated.

I give up. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Cortana and still nothing. I'm curious if it's a Windows Insider thing, because Cortana prompts keep mentioning that, but I'm not an insider on PC and it works with Edge preview for Android, so I don't think that's it.

You could always go back to your Windows 10 Mobile device. That (according to Windows) is already linked through your account and so doesn't need the app to validate it.

My Windows 10 device is already linked, like you said, automatically. Just trying to get my Android device to do it too.
