I'm getting this message when opening cortana
I'm afraid I'm not available to help in your region with the language you've chosen
its English united states. at first I did have English united kingdom because like have that when using drive here. lol
but I change it to US any ideas why its not working

If you have just changed it (e.g. less than around 10 minutes ago), then you would need to wait a bit more before Cortana becomes available for your PC.

The same happened to me: at first I had U.S. with Cortana, then I changed regions (Cortana disappeared), then I reverted back to US - Cortana didn't appear immediately, but around 15 minutes later Cortana re-appeared.

hi this is on the 830 not a pc I just installed windows 10 on the pc but didn't know cortana was on there

I see. Windows 10 has Cortana if the region is set correctly.

But going to your L830, make sure that the Region, Language and Speech are all set to United States. I also experienced that issue in an L535 I used to own, but setting these three to United States solved the issue.
