a day has passed since windows 10 Apr,2020 update is released but it's not showing up in my windows 10 update. is there a way to manually update windows 10?

It hasn't been officially released yet but you can get it via the Insider Program
Go to All Settings > Update & Security > Windows Insider Program > Get Started
