Couple questions after upgrading to win10 mobile

Phone: Lumia 1520, hard reset and did not load backup after win10 upgrade.

Current issues:

My car is a 2015 Lexus IS 350. When in the car the phone connects to the stereo via Bluetooth just fine, but sometimes is does not auto-play the music. Sometimes I have to open groove and hit play. I read a few posts in here talking about a time-out/"stop the music" feature that MS may have implemented, but sometimes I can go 8 hours and the music auto-plays and sometimes 30 minutes and it doesn't play. Other times it plays all the time. I'm a desktop engineer and did troubleshooting on this issue for 4 days, trying all kinds of things and all I can come up with is this is a bug. Can anyone confirm? Is MS going to address this?

I also can't browse my music on the stereo anymore. The option to browse is gone. Anyone have info on this?

When I long press on the trash folder in the email app and choose empty, nothing happens. The trash never empties, I have to either leave them or manually delete them one by one. Any info on this issue?

I didn't have either of these issues with win8.1 mobile.

Questions:

1) Where is the default lock screen image stored? (blue sky, blue water, cliffs on either side)

2) How do I get Artist Cover Art to show? (album cover art is fine)
I also put 3 albums on One Drive to test. These show cover art for an artist, but it's the wrong album cover or not an album cover at all. Where are these coming from?

3) How do you open Block & Filter, without going thru Call + SMS filter setting?

4) How do you open the gadgets app? It's not listed in All Apps.

5) How do you get missed text notifications on my win10 computer, like you get missed call notifications?

1) if you are referring to Mobile, there is a "Sample Pictures" folder in the Pictures one
2) be sure that in the Settings (open the hamburger menu, next to your account) the automatic fetch is enabled. Make sure that your music has correctly set metadata (artist, album, and so on). It will load the images automatically. While you are playing something, press the 3 dots to open a menu. Here you can choose to show album images or artist images during reproduction.
4) It does instead. Are you sure that you have downloaded and updated it?
5) I'm not sure what you mean. Most messaging apps should stack their notifications in the notification area by default.

on 1) I look in the sample folder on the phone drive and on the SD card and it's empty. When I go to Settings > Personalization > Lock Screen > Background it's set to My picture, but this isn't a picture I put on the phone. When I choose Sample Images, the picture that is on my lock screen right now, isn't in Sample Images. I don't know where the picture the lock screen is showing is coming from. I like it and don't want to lose it if I choose something else.

on 2) I have auto retrieve turned off. This is because I have all my music meticulously setup with all the correct metadata with the cover art embedded as well. I use MP3 tag for this purpose. I've found these auto update media options mess up my perfect library so I turned it off. Like I mentioned I already have all the correct metadata setup, when I go into groove, open the menu, choose artist, I get no cover art. When I choose album everything is there. Are you saying, I have to turn on auto retrieve in order to get cover art to show for the artist catagory? Win8.1 didn't work this way, it just showed the artists first album cover art when I was in the artist category. I don't trust the auto retrieve and don't want it to mess up my library.

on 4) I have gadgets installed and updated. I was in it when I paired my Bluetooth devices, it automatically opened. The store shows it installed, but it isn't listed in all apps. I can open it from the windows store however.

on 5) I'm talking about the feature that you can turn on on your win10 computer and on your win10 mobile phone that shows missed calls in the notification area on the phone and on my computer. The option is in Cortana's settings. I read an article that said missed calls and missed texts can show in your notification area on the computer and on the phone. Currently only missed calls show on both devices and missed texts only show on the phone. (maybe the article was wrong?)

Which build are you running? Those bugs you have mentioned may have been fixed in updates, make sure you've updated your phone.
Also, I think some features you're talking about here might come with anniversary update (text messages notifications on pc)

I'm running OS build: 10.0.10586.494
When I go to phone update and check it says I'm up to date. Also all apps have been updated from the Store as well.
Thanks for the info about text notification on PC. I'll look for it in the anniversary update.

That's the current Prod Threshold build, any further builds (currently) come from Insider previews.
I'm running 14393.3 on my Lumia 1520 = current Slow & Fast Ring Insider Redstone build.
This is rumored to be (with possible hotfixes) the Anniversary update, very stable - I have NO issues.
OR wait till after August 2nd for the official Anniversary Update.

Some of the features you ref'd may be in this build, not your current build.

This is rumored to be (with possible hotfixes) the Anniversary update, very stable - I have NO issues.

Ok thanks. I'll probably just wait till next Tuesday and get the anniversary update and see what issues get resolved. If I still have some issues or questions after the update I'll post in the win10 mobile forum.
