current windows phone apps runs on windows 10 desktop?

I think microsoft is not going to dump the current collection of applicaitons for windows phone and they are going to work in windows phone 10 for sure,but as the windows phone 10 is going to be the same as windows 10 so logically every current windows phone application should also work on/support windows 10 desktop....what do you people think about this?

It's not what we think... it's what we know. WP and WRT are combining into a single codebase where all WP apps and RT apps will work. How exactly this will happen isn't clear, but considering their app base... it's most likely they will "just" work, even if losing some of the benefits that they may have if devs tweak the apps slightly.
