Cursor for keyboard

I hope we get a cursor on the keyboard. I have hated the need to hold my finger till a cursor pops up and then try all my magic spells to get the cursor to drop down in the right spot. 75% of the time I drop one or 2 characters away. If I drop after I can just erase, but in front and I have to try the magic touch again. There has to be a good way to get a simple forward and back cursor. I think android has one. IPhone does not and the cursor game is just as bad on them.

Anyone else?

I don't understand how so many people have difficulty using the current method as I've never had an issue with it. I'd rather have slightly larger keys on the keyboard than waste the space used for arrow keys.

At least on the iPhone it is better...but on window phone... I don't find it intuitive nor does it work well...
