Is there a limit to the number of custom ringtones you can have? When I first got my 830 I added two mp3 files to the Ringtones folder -- one to be used as a ringtone and one for text message alert -- and after a reboot they appeared in a Custom list in my selection.
Yesterday I added another mp3 that I want to use as a reminder alert, but after two reboots it still is not showing up in my Custom list.
Any idea why?
EDIT: I think I figured it out. The third file I was adding had a similar file name to an existing custom tone. One is called "tos comm chirp," and the new one I just added was called "tos intercom." On a hunch I renamed the latter to simply "intercom," and it showed up after one reboot. I guess the "tos" at the beginning of two file names was confusing 8.1.
Thanks.
