It's time for customers to be able to buy Windows Phones much like we currently buy other computers. I should be able to pick from a list of options and have my Windows Phone assembled to meet my needs.
I'm a guy with very huge hands, so these little phones don't work for me. I would love to pick a large screen, add a slideout keyboard, then pick the processor, memory, battery, SD card, etc. (and then add a module for my particular service provider) to meet my needs. My wife doesn't need that and could pick from a smaller form factor. Others might like an option for a gamepad on their phone.
It's also time that phones were NOT tied to a specific service provider. Could you imagine that if I changed my home ISP, I'd have to throw out all my computers and buy new ones? (Verizon should allow the 1520 on their network.)
