Hello WPC friends and scholars!

I was wondering if anyone could share their experience with those sticky mounting disks that come with most car mounts?

Do they stick forever?
Can one be easily removed without damage to the dashboard surface?

The instructions for this car mount I bought say the disc is not needed on textured hard plastic dashboards.
The mount doesn't seem to want stay without having to reset it hourly
Maybe it's just better to mount on the windscreen.

I doubt if they stick forever. I've already had to glue my rear-view mirror back on the windshield on one car I had. I was at work on a hot day, and when I left work to go home, my rear-view mirror was on the floor of the car. It fell off from the extreme heat.

Aww...
Ya know what.
I shouldn't admit this, but I looked at the suction cup thing again and failed to pull of the thin plastic packing protector :eek:rly::confused::asleep::sweaty:
Teach me to be in a hurry.

The thing sticks like a bank robbers grip on a bag of stolen cash now
