Data Archive apps that are following French Law for Data Archiving

I was searching for some enterprise applications that archive data and compliance with french law.
During my searching i found applications that are following European Law (GDPR) for archiving data. Still i did not found any data archiving application that archive data and compliance with french law.

Silly question but what is the specific difference between French and EU law as France is part of the EU? Don't the same EU laws apply?
