data sense only says near data limit with 500 MB left

not sure if there is a setting to change this but now that i got 500 MB left of the 5 GB with net10 all the tile says is near data limit and not saying how much is left. why would they do something dumb like this making the tile useless really when you would use it most... now i have to keep opening data sense just to see how much i have. is there a way to change when the warning happens too like when i have 50 MB left or something? 500 MB still is a lot to me to have a warning like this.

How large is your pinned tile?

There seems to be no way to change when the user will be warned about his or her mobile data usage. Have you tried testing other data limits? Changing the data limit in the settings will not change or reset the amount of data that you already have consumed for your current period. It's possible that the phone automatically warns users when the remaining amount of mobile data is 10% (or less than 10%) of the total data allocation.

well this is the first month so didn't really have time to test other limits. guess i can change it to more then 5 GB but that would effect the data sense thing when get near limit? guess it is something that can't be changed. have 8.1 since 10 is not out yet. tile size is the biggest it can be square. also noticed it only says who much data and not wifi. not sure if there is a way to turn on for wifi too not that that matters really.

Yes, it can be changed, just not by us, users; updates to the interface and usability of apps are always expectable. However, in the meantime, that is a workaround that you can try (the one I mentioned in the message you quoted).
