Default low res camera vs high res 41 MP

A third party app using the camera on my Nokia 1020 is calling the low res camera which cannot take photos of text
that can be read. I need to disable the low res so the Nokia Pro is defaulted by the third party app. Any suggestions?

Did you try setting the Nokia Camera App as the default lens? If that does not work, I can't think of anything else, especially bcause it's possible that the developer might have coded the app in such a way that it calls only the native cam app instead of the preferred app set up by the user...

Which app is it by the way?
