Default music app wont pause during incomming calls

I use the builtin musicplayer to listen to audiobooks (mp3). Both over Bluetooth, or with the aux out. If I get a call while playing, the sound from music player gets muted, but it keeps playing.
Is there a way to fix this? Or is there other apps better suited for audiobooks? The music player does not remember wich track and position if the app get closed.

There are a lot off different audiobook players on the store, just search for audio book. I can't recommend any special though.
