As per title, deleted the app in the regular 'Long Press' fashion as it was playing up a bit, now I can't find a download link for it anymore for my device. Say's not available for your device in the store.
The only one it suggests is for 8.1 devices.
Any idea how to get it back?

I would use the goold old music hub, as long as you can, as it's still superiour to the slow replacement. :)
I've checked the store too, and you're right. The only app I can find is for WP 8.1

I wonder if you went into Phone Updates, if it would eventually show up as a small update.

Edit: What did you actually delete? Music or an Xbox Music App?

Thing is, I just started a subscription to Xbox music so kinda need the app.

Your subscription works with the "old" music hub as well. oO I don't have a device running WP 8 at hand, so the exact terms used may be different, but you should get along anyways:

launch the app, tap the ellipsis (the three dots on the bottom right of the app) and go to settings. Scroll down the page and look for something called "manage xbox music accounts" or the like. Tapping it will open IE and load a site where you have to enter your subscription details.

@Blacklac : No update came thru, also nothing in SysApp updater.

@Thanks #WinPhan.
Tried that and, yes, I can use the old 'Music + Video' hub.
Tried the other bits you mention and I can search and download music from the store with the 'Xbox Music Store' tab when you swipe left.
Also think I've nmanaged to sync my accounts. Will see if they play over Bluetooth in my car, that be near ideal.

If they played through the new music app, I see no reason why it shouldn't work using the old one. ;)

try changing your region to US and then downloading the app by searching for it in the store, through your phone.

I thought he meant he deleted Music and Video hub. XD. I don't know if that's possible though.

He's good to go if he still has Music and Video Hub.

@Pranjal Rai

Tried that, still doesn't work. It basically say's it's not available for your device.(I'm on 8.0 still). You could always reinstall the app after you deleted it. It seems to of changed maybe after the last update.

Just got off a web chat with an MS operative. He said the Xbox Music app has been pulled for the 8.0 devices. Moved upto the 8.1 standard. Doesn't know if it'll be back.

Oh, I didn't know you were using 8.0 but why? Shouldn't you move to 8.1 it's high time now.

I would've normally gone up as most have, but I want to wait and see if the 'Games in app list' will change. I have over 130. Not happy with that change. Cyan is my only hope!

Edit: I notice that Onetube has an update and it's the same thing their.

Just to clarify, it's been pulled by MS, had it confirmed on a webchat.
Hitting that link in my phone gives me this....View attachment 68314

The only thing I really miss using that app is the ability to turn off Mobile data use.
I'll wauit for Nokia Cyan and the official update.

I guess nothing can be done about it, unless microsoft restores it on thier end. :unhappy:
Yes, I am also desperate for a mobile data option in the action centre. Fingers crossed, hope Nokia pulls something off.

I hope is stays DELETED FOREVER!!
Bring back the old app. It's not perfect but it's 1000 times better than the Xbox Music POS!

If the next update nothing has changed, I'm killing my subscription to Xbox Music. I've been a subscriber since WP7.
I think it's time we put our money to better use. That $9.99 we pay each month could go to a developer who can create something on par with what the old Music+Video hub was, or better.
