Upgraded from windows 8.1 to windows 10 ... now the desktop shortcuts to network excel spreadsheets not working

desktop shortcuts not working after windows 10 upgrade

Is it a local network? Have you viewed the properties of one and verified it is still mapped to the correct location (they may need to be remapped)?
To fix these broken shortcuts in Windows 10, you need to delete the icon files. Select Windows Cache files and make sure that Icon Cache files are selected for cleaning. Press OK, then click Clean Now
