The Series S has had such an unfortunate run as it's become a scapegoat for all the generations problems, but I'm genuinely sure we're better off this gen with it's existence and development for it pushing for optimization. Kinda crazy that five (really four I guess) years in we still need stories like this. It's just this constant circle jerk back and forth of the Series S "holding back a generation" and that having to optimize for the lower end hardware improved everyone's experience.
