Did you know...(PC to download apps)

You can use your PC to download apps and not have to connect your phone. I just found this out yesterday. I was browsing through the Zune Marketplace on my pc and hit download for the Prime TV app and it said that it would appear on my phone the next time my phone checked for updates. I fell asleep and bam it was on my phone when I woke up! Pretty neat!


PS I know that android already does this.

Yep does it via Wi-Fi too if your phone's connected. (And connected to a power supply)

Maybe I am always in a hurry to install the app. But I have only had maybe a half dozen out of a hundred apps auto install on my phone. Sometimes I am installing almost as quickly as selecting on the PC, but very often its a few hours later and no autoinstall. Don't know exactly why it's inconsistent. Not a big deal though.

I have just always installed from phone. 99% of the time. With my wifi its super fast.

I never connect my phone to my PC. The only way I find about new apps is from this site and other wp sites. I like browsing apps via zune because it's easier to browse. As far as wirelesss syncing goes, it's spotty for me.
