some of the windows phone shows the 4G signal, and my phone shows LTE signal. What the difference between these twooo???

It depends on where you are. In Europe, 4G and LTE are interchangeable - in fact, they're the same thing (4G is used in the nomenclature).

In the US, 4G refers to DC-HSDPA, which is part of 3G+/HSDPA+ in Europe, but LTE refers to what Europeans call 4G.

One obliterates the battery on my 930 on just beats it with a metal rod lol but 4G is pretty much HSPA+ which is 3.5g pretty much and LTE is really 4G but its branded as just LTE for some reason Idk the super technical stuff but that kinda sums it up

That's the story in the US, meanwhile in other parts of the world 4G/LTE is the same, it's just that 4G is the network for cellular signal for texts and calls, while LTE is for cellular data. Sometimes the OS alternates between the two, but in most cases it just shows either one.

The symbol that lights up is part of the carrier string. The carrier dictates the symbol and your phone interprets it as part of the connection. Most OEMs offer several symbol sets for better interpretation.

Some US carriers took to labeling H+ as 4G in order to promote the faster speed over original 3G. H+ is nicknamed FauxG and 3.5G as a consequence. It's just marketing. Most users have no idea what H+ means. (It is short hand for enhance High Speed Packet Access.)

On my Windows Phones on T-MoUS (3rd one now - 521 > 925 > 1520.3) I've seen:
  • G
  • 2G
  • EDGE
  • 3G
  • H+
  • LTE

I've don't recall ever actually seeing 4G on a Windows Phone. I know I saw it on webOS phones and Nexus phones.

On my CV RM-937 Lumia 1520 in the UK I get G or E displayed on the 2G network.
E, 3G, H, H+ displayed on the 3G network. And finally a solid 4G displayed on the 4G network.

4G in the US is H+/3.5G
4G LTE, or just LTE is LTE as we know it.

My 920 on the French ROM displayed 4G when on LTE.

So pretty much differentiation for marketing purposes.
