Different Lumia creative studio behavior on W10M

I use lumia creative studio a lot and one irrittating feature or bug I've seen is that after saving an edit, the app closes taking you back to the photo in photos app

For example, I take a photo, edit with LCS (Lumia creative studio), apply 'pure' filter and save. The photo will save but the app will exit. Now if I want to add two or more effects consecutively while saving, I'll have to open the app each time.

Open app, apply filter, save - app exits
Open app, apply filter, apply colour pop, save - app exits
Open app, apply filter, colour pop, increase clarity, save - app exits

Those are a lot of steps.

Basically what is missing is save a copy function which allows you to continue editing while still in the app and saving more edits as different versions of the same image

Anyone as irritated as I am?

Is this still the same or have things changed since I posted this? I don't have a W10M device to confirm
