Difficulties connecting to wifi connection

Every other wi-fi network I've ever joined is easy as pie, you click on it, enter the router password and connect,
however...
the work wi-fi...every time I try to connect to it, it asks for the router password, and you think it's good...
but then it has a pop up that comes up for username and password....
and you think it's like "hotel style" but it's not set up that way, because everyone else here doesn't have that problem
finally i tried admin & admin
and it worked.
but all it does is it logs me into the router settings application....
like if you were to put 192.168.0.1 into your internet taskbar...

Is this happening on your laptop or tablet or cell phone or all of the above? What model device are you using? Is it happening to multiple devices? Then it is most likely an issue with the access point, not your device. We may be able to help, but will need more information.
