i use my ATIV S as my car cam
and along the ride it auto focuses just too much, like every other second it's either
focusing on the windshield itself or focusing on the road ahead.
drives me kinda crazy i just want to shut autofocus down.
Don't know about your ATIV S but in my WP8 Lumia 810 (poor mans 920 which the ATIV S is based on)
in the video settings there is an
option "Continuous Focus" On (default) or OFF.
I guess this is "all" ( I wish my video cam had these options ) so I guess you can't turn off autofocus.
With the camera application open, tap
... Icon > video settings:
•White Balance: Choose from Auto, Cloudy, Daylight, Fluorescent, or Tungsten (formerly incandescent).
•Effects: Select image effects to change the resulting video. Examples of image effects are: Mono for black-and-white images;
Negative for a film negative; and Sepia for an old video with reddish-brown tones.
•Contrast: Turn the auto contrast feature On or OFF (default).
•Saturation: Adjust the intensity of the hues in your videos. Choose from +2.0 to -2.0.
•Sharpness: Adjust the crispness of your videos. Choose from +2.0 to -2.0.
•Video Resolution: Your video camera supports video sizes from VGA (640x480) up to HD (1920x1080) (default).
