Ditched 930 for 1520!

As much as I liked my 930 just as much I hated it for its very poor battery life! Averaged about 9-10 hrs for heavy usage.

Even though I had ended up getting a power pack in the end I just lost patience. So was left with the option of replacing it with the HTC One M8 Windows Phone or the behemoth 1520 but typical HTC are very slow to release it in the UK by the time they do the One m8 will be a relic. So I have decided to go for 1520 and I'm glad I did, yes its big but the battery life is great I easily get a 26 hours for my heavy usage.

The Lumia 1520 is a great phone, but for me its big, for normal users too big.
But hey, this is only my opinion.
I have the 930 and my battery is not bad. I'm happy with the 930.

I am satisfied with the battery life, but it could be always better... The 1520 is too big for me.

I got a Qi charger for my desk - I just plop it down on that. But that may not be realistic for you.

But I do find the battery life pretty good. The 1520 is gorgeous - but just too big, I know I am going to drop it. Maybe if they built it into a glove or it had grooves for my fingers it would be better suited.

Was listening to All About Windows Phone's latest podcast - they were saying the 930 and 1520 are basically the same phone except 1520 has better screen and better battery - so if you can hack the size, it's a better device. I'm fine with my 930 and since it's Nokia unbranded Euro, hoping to get the Denim update ahead of the carriers! Also splurged for Qi charging - and man is it worth it!! Got the 5000mah Ravpower from Amazon. Didn't think an external battery could be so cool.

Like most here.. I went from 1520 to 930 as I found it too big.. but its gorgeous. The speaker on the 930 could be slightly louder, but its great.
