DIY help for fixing Micro USB connector port on Lumia 810

Has anyone performed this replacement? Anyone willing to help out?
I got my used Lumia 810 on Ebay yesterday. The phone is just gorgeous and really, really fluid. Alas the battery wasn't charging correctly. I played around with a few chargers and cables and discovered that the USB cable - male part - needed to be manipulated to get the battery to charge. I am trying to replace the Micro USB connector myself. The phone has been disassembled and a couple of hubs are on order from Digi Key but wanted to know if anyone has performed this operation before and are there any watch outs.

I would just say be careful and take your time!

Take a look at YouTube videos or iFixit to have a better understanding at how it all comes apart.
