Do I need to change to the US region to the the Cyan update?

query regarding cyan update

I am from India but I have changed the region to US due to Cortana. Do I need to change back the region to India in order to get the cyan update when it rolls out for India?

I don't think so..people claimed to get it in spite of region set to US.

I have Lumia 920 and I have yet not received the update...

It has been postponed, we were suppose to get it by 14th July. But it got postponed to end of summer. So another month maybe.

Nope, regardless of region its set to, it will get updates from whatever source the device's firmware points it to, whether its a carrier or region it is from.
