WP is virus free. There is no way for a virus to corrupt WP easily. It's not impossible but it would be very difficult.

I wouldn't worry about it. WP market share is too low for us to worry about things like that and the WP OS is designed with security in mind.

That is like the Warning labels put on medicine bottles. (here in the US) Nothing is really Virus Proof, but if there is a .000000000000000000000001% chance you can get one, then it is safer for the company to cover it's a$$ to put a 1mb page on it's site with a simple warning. And this is a simple as I ever saw... LoL
