Does anyone else get unhelpful Facebook notifications?

unhelpful facebook notifications

Does anyone else get facebook notifications about someone posting a picture or someone has updated there status and you open up facebook and there is nothing there?

All the time. I get alot of them for friend suggestions, too. Yet, I open the notification, and nothing. Its really dumb because sometimes I can't even see the full name on the notification, so then what? Lol. Maybe I did want to add them.

Never seen those. However, I'm not using Facebook Beta but the regular app. Maybe that's the difference?

I get this in both the normal app and beta app

I get this and been trying to work out the logic in it (normal app not the beta)

If just seems to pick random friends and send a notification on what they have done

I turned facebook off in battery saver. Its so useless...i just check it when I'm bored.

Yes.I also get randomized notifications e.g Someone posted a photo or updated status also Do you know this person? It's really annoying >_<

I am glad its not just me, I find these very annoying

In my case, no. I only have a couple people as "close friends". I wish there were more settings to break down these "notifications" more.
