no, you don't have to "enroll" your voice. but I"m sure it adapts to your voice automatically over time

Since it is an AI - it will depend heavily on algorithms behind Cortana.

I'm just guessing as I did not work on Cortana. but I was at Tellme, the company that did the previous version. what they do generally is keep track of what you say by your phone # / account and then bias/rework the stochastic probability models toward the sort of things that you say. cool beans.
