Does Outlook.com support SMTP TLS?

Anyone know? I know that Exchange does but can't find any info about Outlook.com support for it?

(SMTP TLS = encrypted transmission of outgoing email if the receiving server also supports it)

Not sure about that specific thing, but I do know Outlook.com currently supports Exchange ActiveSync and POP. (no IMAP yet sadly)

I do know SMTP and TLS are options in POP/IMAP IIRC.
