Double calendar events

I'm getting double calendar events in Cortana, and one has a cloud on it. How do I fix this? I attached a picture of it.

That shouldn't make a difference at all.

OP, do these duplicates appear in the Calendar app? or where you store your events?

Nope just in Cortana

The same for me, Cortana shows duplicated events, but not for all

Me too. This also happens on third party calendars (I use Hope Calendar) even though the built in calendar has no doubles. Any ideas on how to flush the sync and reset everything?

As I mentioned above, I use a 3rd party calendar called Hope. Ends up if you click on one of the phantom entries in Hope you then have a choice to open that same entry in Mail+Calendar. Delete it, and the duplicate/phantom entries are gone. Not a great solution, obviously, but might help a bit.
