Not for the GB CV variant it's not.

WDRT serves up firmware variants according to your carrier/region - it's not the same firmware for worldwide.

I have read so many reports of this fabled update. I have lost count of the number of contributors, on these fine boards and the MS community forum, stating this is available for 000GB and 000FR. It isn't.

Had quiet a heated discussion with a poster on another forum who swore blind he had it on 000GB. After much debate, I managed to convince him that his 'recent' purchase would have updated to the minor update from March 2016, should his device be from a batch before that date.

IMHO, this is probably causing confusion. There IS a UK FW on EE. I have downloaded it but haven't got the bottle to flash it. My friend did, and ended up with an EE splash screen. Not a deal breaker but what else would be hidden in it? Would it sim lock a device? I dont know, hence I bottled it.

I, like most, am getting a bit cheesed off. My son keeps putting his 950 in view, then double taps it, has better WiFi connectivity, battery has improved marginally and network signal is more reliable. To top it off, the 950 000GB was released nearly three weeks ago! I've called, emailed and chatted with MS support, and it's difficult getting them to stray from their stock answer prompts. I even tweeted young Dona and she couldn't give an answer, and she is pretty up front about things. I'm not too worried about the DTTW, I would like the connectivity improvements. Synching my Fitbit blaze takes an age, if it stays connected at all! Don't get me started on WiFi.

Still nowt. I went to do it myself but I upgraded to AU and the files folders are all different. By the time I had found the WDRT .ffu, I got fed up with unable to parse message. Guess I'll try again, or sit tight

I've been doing some digging and the FW we run is also the 000-88. It's all listed in one group. Why haven't they just released the 000-88 to us, or are they collecting data and regionalising it?

I'm seeking some clarification on the DTTW firmware for 000-GB. My contact is asking questions, but isn't getting completely straight answers yet. I'll reply further when I get some info I can actually understand.

Ok, I have some feedback from Microsoft on this. UK CV firmware should have been released and the fact we don't have it is unintentional.

Would anyone who is running UK CV variant of the 950XL who hasn't had the DTTW firmware please supply:

* OS Version
* Current FW version
* Model Number
* Mobile Operator code (e.g. 000-GB)

If you're in the UK and do have the DTTW, please also give the same information.

The more info/data I get, the better as I can send this back to MS for analysis. They're actively investigating now.

Ok, so I've heard back that this variant of the firmware has now finally been approved. I don't know yet when the next available update slot is (there's set update windows for these updates to go out), so possibly next week. My MS guy is currently in the middle of a forest in the middle of Finland doing some volunteer work, so it's understandable that he doesn't have all the information to hand. Really good of him to set aside some spare time to help us out.
