Downgrading

I Live in the Dominican republic and I just bought a unlocked lumia 822 I was reading on how to setup the APN , I downloaded access point and still its says inactive. I would like to know to I have to downgrade the software for it to work?? And what is the process??

You must return to 1244.0003 firm, because the firm portico has problems with APN to sms, do it with Nokia Care.
